An Update on Planning:
Everything is coming together! My housing down payment is being taken care of; I’ll be living on-campus in a double. Whether or not I’m living with an Egyptian or another international student is another matter, however. I’ll be flying our of O’Hare at 5:51 pm on January 19th on British Midland International Airlines, and after a couple-hour layover in Heathrow, I’ll get on a connector to get to Cairo, theoretically arriving in Cairo at 4:30 pm on the 20th.
In further news, I have an interview! This is for an internship at the Milwaukee Public Museum for next summer, after I have returned from my travels. It was very weird, as MPM got back to me the very next morning after I sent it, but exciting! It’s on January 5th at 1:30 pm, so wish me luck! I’m also looking at applying to a few other places as well, just in case: the Penn Museum in Philadelphia, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Samuel P. Harn Art Museum in Gainesville, FL to name a few.
That’s all for now, I’ll keep you posted with any other developments.
